MEHDI EL HAMMAMI

Mehdi El Hammami studied at the CNSM of Paris and was awarded a first prize in bassoon in 2006. At the same time, he got a Licence (B.A.) in musicology from Lyon II University. In 2006 he performed as a member of the Gustav Mahler Jugend Orchester under the direction of Claudio Abbado. In 2007, he pursues post-graduate studies with Pr. Georg Klutsch at the Cologne Hochschule für Musik (Germany).

In 2006-2007 he was granted a scholarship by the SYLFF Foundation and was awarded another one by the ADAMI in 2007-2008.

A member of Ensemble 2e2m, he also routinely performs with the Rouen Opera Orchestra, the Paris Ensemble Orchestral and the Basque National Orchestra.
