'Ask my name of the sabres and spears, and they will tell you I am called Antar.' The life of this hero is evoked by Alphonse de Lamartine in his Travels in the East. Zad Moultaka opens up the age-old space linking the pre-Islamic oral tradition of the epic of the archer-poet to 21st-century modernity. In a minimal geography, French composer Pascale Criton (1954) continues a reflection on the Deleuzian Fold on the propagation of sound in the overlapping dimensions of a manifold membrane-space, fictive and projected. With Turbid motion, Malin Bång, a Swedish composer born in 1974, transposes and compares the interaction between the conditions of lighting and noise in Stockholm and Paris, opening up the space for music made up of combinations of levels of energies and timbres. In a new version of her masterpiece, the Serb Snežana Nešić (1973) investigates Man's emotional faculty, his capacity for feeling and desiring.
