Transgender results from the hybrid crossing of two major trends in today's music and of two of its decisive players: 2e2m (France) / zeitkratzer (Germany). The encounter sprang from the desire to decompartmentalise the aesthetics of creation and, by sharing radically distinct musical approaches and cultures, clear the way for a new energy. Nurtured by the exchange between two traditions – those of written 'art music' and live transcription of electronic scores – , this collaboration frees itself from genres for an out-of-bounds sound!
